I enjoyed this book very much. A very different take on vampires. Sunstriders and Nightwalkers have the same need for human blood, yet both are very different from one another. The conflict between the two seems never-ending.
Mag's is bound by her oath to destroy nightwalkers. She is awoken from a long sleep in a new world to her. She is a part of the Sung Guard, a long-standing order set to protect humanity.
I loved the way the author took the time to develop the characters and environment. I will be reading the rest of this series for sure.
