The author did another fantastic job with world-building and character development. Being the second book in the series, I enjoyed it as much as the first. The author writes in a flowing way that keeps you wanting to read more. Especially to find out if Mariah succeeds in her pursuits.
I look forward to reading the next book in the Legends of the Ceo San series. If you haven't read the first book Raven Thrall I recommend reading that as well.
You will fall in love with Mariah and the other characters in the book.
