The author did a superb job portraying the characters in this book. I am excited to read the upcoming books that are a part of this series. It was filled with a lot of suspense and mystery. I was utterly taken back by the unexpected twist at the end of the book. The characters uniquely maintain their own individualities. I really enjoyed the writing style of this author.
