This book was a different type of read. The storyline itself was well written. I came across the issue of understanding the terminology. Often i had to reread sections to try and understand what it could possibly mean.
My interpretation of terms like kindred, slayer, and shadow sidhe may have been completely different from what they meant in the story. A glossary of the terminology should be incorporated to clarify the actual meaning of magic creature implied by the Author.
Overall though I would give it a 4 out of 5, only because I had to try and understand the difference between the magic beings.
